Solidarity with Ukraine

 "Solidarity with Ukraine" is a three-day international event which will gather together 60 participants from Erasmus+/ESC Programme Countries and Ukraine.

Description

Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, millions of Ukrainians have sought refuge abroad or are internally displaced. Young people in particular are facing uncertainties about the future as a result of the war. Interrupted learning or training opportunities may have lifelong consequences for a whole generation.

The "Solidarity with Ukraine" event will focus on critical issues related to international youth cooperation with Ukrainian youth organisations in the period of unprovoked and unjustified Russian military aggression against Ukraine:

1) Exchange of practices of international youth cooperation with Ukraine since the period  of war;

2) The issue of war trauma for young people - how to work with them and talk about war, about European ideas, about the value of European integration and joint actions;

3) Support for the sector and youth workers who work with young people with refugee experience;

4) Education for peace and reconciliation - under which conditions it is possible to conduct.

The sessions will foster collaboration, share insights, and develop strategies to support Ukrainian youth and youth workers.
